Description
The Panasonic CR1616 is a compact 3V lithium coin cell designed for compatible electronic devices requiring a thin, reliable power source.
Panasonic specifies the CR1616 with a nominal voltage of 3V, nominal capacity of 55mAh and standard continuous drain of 0.1mA. The cell measures approximately 16.0mm in diameter and 1.6mm in height, with a weight of approximately 1g.
Its lithium manganese-dioxide chemistry provides stable power in a compact form factor, making CR1616 batteries particularly useful in small electronic equipment where space is limited.

CR1616 vs CR1620 vs CR1632
These batteries all have approximately the same 16mm diameter, but they have different thicknesses:
CR1616: 1.6mm
CR1620: 2.0mm
CR1632: 3.2mm
They should therefore not be treated as automatically interchangeable, even though all three are nominally 3V.
Safety Information
CR1616 is a non-rechargeable lithium battery. Do not recharge.
Do not short-circuit, dismantle, crush, puncture or expose the battery to fire or excessive heat.
Keep coin batteries away from children. Panasonic warns that swallowed coin batteries can cause serious injury and require immediate medical attention.
